A playful, multi-format campaign designed to promote Comanavago’s single, Crush, capturing the duo’s chaotic charm and offbeat humour. The visuals leaned into their DIY aesthetic, blending tongue-in-cheek storytelling with internet culture to create an engaging suite of social-first content.
The creative process began with collaborative moodboarding, where we pulled visual references from a range of eclectic, DIY-inspired music videos and early internet aesthetics. We wanted the Crush visualiser to feel fun, chaotic, and slightly surreal - reflective of Comanavago’s offbeat personality and the energy of the track.
Our moodboards drew inspiration from lo-fi pop visuals, early 2000s webcam culture, and internet-era absurdity, helping us land on a visual approach that blended analogue grain, saturated colour, and playful on-screen graphics. I co-directed and filmed the visualiser, working closely with the team to capture the right tone and pacing, while also designing supplementary content for social media.
Directed and shot a lo-fi, stylised music visualiser for Crush, reflecting the band’s offbeat identity and leaning into nostalgic internet aesthetics.
Edited a parody of Genius's iconic lyric breakdown series, where Comanavago give a hilariously unfiltered take on the inspiration behind Crush.
Produced a tongue-in-cheek reactive video where Comanavago play Crush or Pass while watching oddly satisfying hydraulic press clips - pure internet absurdity, in their signature tone.
